Origin

• Anduvin Ulricson is born as an only child to Ulric and Yuri. As a young boy and hearing of the great warriors of old and the might of the king of Asgard, Anduvin dedicates his life to the warrior arts, with the only goal of being worthy of serving the king directly.

• Upon recognition of his feats in battle and martial skill, Anduvin is granted elite training of the royal guard. Eventually, he becomes among it's highest ranking members, charged with the protection of the royal family directly, often shadowing them.

• When the Civil War broke out between Superheroes, Anduvin did not choose a side, but watched over Thor as best he could, even going so far as to indirectly help him in battle. But otherwise, much of his attention was on the Royal Family present in Asgard, namely the All-Father Odin.

• During the scenario of Doctor Doom and Battleworld, Anduvin aided the heroes in the battle, but was called away to be informed that Jane Foster had become Thor, Goddess of Thunder (despite all efforts of stopping it). As a result, Anduvin is charged with watching over the Goddess of Thunder as his primary priority.

• Anduvin arrives on earth, prepared to guide and watch over Thor as he embarks on this new journey.

Psyche

+ Humble

Anduvin is an extraordinarily humble individual and is a quiet soul, as such, it's rare to hear him boast extensively of his works, and will often thank his success to those who gave him the opportunity to do so. No 'I' in team as it were. Unless it is necessary, he rarely breaks this particular trait.

+ Intelligent

Anduvin is an incredibly quick-witted and easy-learning individual. He can catch onto concepts quickly and can delve through hosts of new information without being overwhelmed. He was considered a prodigy with how well he picked up his blade magic, surprising even his instructors.

+ Motivations

Anduvin has always wanted one thing: to protect others and guard the royal family of Asgard. As such, even if he doesn't know them, if he sees someone in need of aid, it's not uncommon for him to do so.

+ Goals

Anduvin's only goal now is to watch over, protect, and guide the new Thor as best he can. Though he sees the pretty large gap in terms of power between them, he's determined to be as useful to her however he can.

+ Will of Stone

Anduvin is no coward, and you can throw him down, beat him, stab him, and as long as his body doesn't quit on him, he will keep getting up again and again until he either dies or finds victory. He will not willingly accept defeat in the face of an enemy who would do others harm and cares very little for his personal well being.

+ Romance

Anduvin is a romantic at heart, and seeks the common everyday quality of life in which to eventually find love, settle down, get married, have kids…and he's usually pretty good with the ladies, despite his more initial shyness when actually -dealing- with romance at first. He's not ashamed of serenades, flowers, all that cheesy goodness.

+ Likeable

Anduvin is a extremely easily approachable and generally easily liked by most people he meets. The way he speaks can churn the hearts of others for better or for worse, and he can turn a crowd rampant in celebration or war. It has never been difficult for him to make friends.

+ Fair

Anduvin believes in equal treatment of others in terms of law, and believes in justice. The punishment fits the crime. He believes in doing the right thing at all times, and looks down upon things he doesn't believe to be right. He is compassionate and true, always wanting to walk the right path in life, whatever 'right' may be.

Abilities

+ Asgardian Physiology

As an Asgardian, an extradimensional race of warriors and guardians of the nine realms, Anduvin possesses all the phsycial qualities that is greatly similar to that of his kin, though greatly improved thanks to his warrior training.

- Strength - Even among his own kin, Anduvin is quite physically strong. Though not near the strength of the Asgardian Gods, he can comfortably lift 15 tons with ease and able to leap tall buildings in a single bound.

- Stamina - Due to their racial nature, Asgardians do not get tired easily, and can often go for great periods of time without collapsing from exhaustion. Anduvin is no exception, and he can fight all day and night, though anything more than that and he will tire.

- Durability - Asgardians can survive most things that would easily kill a human. Anduvin can be hit by a car and be unscathed, fall from great heights without a scratch, and withstand most forms of attack with little injury. Though he can still be beat to death and stabbed, most conventional forms of human weaponry have no effect on him. (anything equal to or beneath a .22 caliber bullet.)

- Longevity - Asgardians have a -really- long lifespan and age very slowly. While Anduvin is actually thousands of years old, he looks to be about 25.

- Speed - The average Asgardian warrior is -very- fast, comparable to the finest olympic level athlete and superior. Due to the elite warrior training that Anduvin has undergone, he has exceeded these limits, and can run about 40 miles per hour constantly for a whole day without feeling fatigue.

- Disease Immunity - Due to the nature of his physiology, Anduvin is completely immune to all earth diseases and illnesses, though he is still vulnerable to poisons and toxins like any other Asgardian.

+ Weapon Manifestation

Anduvin, as a result of magic and practiced with skill, can manifest various weapons out of thin air, able to generate knives, spears, and most notably, swords. The weapon he can conjure are incredibly durable and sharp, able to pierce Asgardian armor with ease, and as such easily render most earth substances apart like paper (minus harder substances like Adamantium and Vibranium, which Anduvin will evenutally learn is quite resistant to his blades). They can still be broken with the appropriate force applied.

Advantages

+ Allspeak

As a member of Odin's royal guard, he possesses the Allspeak, and can understand and speak any language in fluency. Though he cannot read and write in languages he doesnt know.

+ Ambidextrous

Due to his extensive training in weaponry, Anduvin can wield any weapon effectively in both hands with no physical or mental drawback.

+ Appearance

Anduvin is considered by many Asgardians (and other cultures for that matter, especially humans) to be incredibly handsome, moreso than the average member of his race.

+ Royal Guard

Due to being an elite member of the royal guard, and as long as he remains in good standing with the All-father, he has access to all the resources therein, and may speak with Odin…though Odin can refuse him however he wishes.

Skills

+ Acrobat

Anduvin is -very- nimble, able to do flips and spins and traverse any sort of obstacle in a particularly athletic way with extreme ease. He is considered to be as light as a feather by his fellows, though it's not true, he certainly makes it look like it is so.

+ Armed Combat

Training extensively and dedicating his life to his craft, Anduvin is a master of armed combat, especially in the field of swordsmanship. He is almost a better swordsman than Fandral, having bested him in combat on more than one occassion, though not near the skill of the Gods themselves. In a battle, if he has a weapon, in most cases, the enemy is better off not showing up to fight, as he can cleave through the battlefield like a one man army.

+ Marksmanship

Anduvin's aim is almost unchallenged. Most often than not, he uses the blades he conjures as projectile weapons, throwing them with fatal and nigh-perfect accuracy and precision. He rarely, if ever, misses his mark.

+ Riding

Anduvin is an admired warrior and rider of a mount. While only about as good as the next Asgardian, his skill is fairly impressive. He can ride most anything with relative ease, though he can be unhorsed or dismounted as well as the next guy.

+ Brawling

Anduvin is just as easily able to fight with his hands as he is able to fight with his blades. In truth, he is among the best the Elite guard of the royal family has to offer, fighting with a technical grace that apparently makes the Warriors Three proud of him.

+ Survival

Anduin is fully capable of surviving with minimal resources in wild areas or in war, and knows things such as this so that he can defend what he must more effectively. Regardless, he is able to survive harsh climates easily with barely any food…and he knows just how to find food, make weapons, etc.

+ Home Living

In addition to being a warrior, he is fully prepared to attend to any needs of the Royal family, including cooking and generally taking care of space and keeping it neat. He is -very- well trained in his responsibilities.

Disadvantages

+ Honor

Anduvin is a strong believer in honorable conduct to everyone you meet. He keeps his word and never breaks his promises, he won't strike down an unarmed opponent. Enemies can easily take advantage of his knightly conduct and can catch him off guard or take advantage of his kindness.

+ Humble

Anduvin is a pure heart and is humble in nature, as such, more socially aggressive individuals can talk over him and take advantage of his more respectful nature, which can be aggravating…good way to get him upset.

+ Durability

The problem with being really durable is that while it's great not getting hurt, when you do get hurt you can be in trouble. Most human forms of surgical processes won't work on Anduvin due to his physiology…more often than not he would either need mystical help or find medical help in Asgard or other earthly origin.

+ Loyalty

Due to the nature of his charge, he is extremely loyal to the Royal Family. should any of them be captured or threatened, he can be forced to surrender to avoid harm coming to those he swore to protect.

+ Magic Vulnerability

Anduvin is very vulnerable to magic of Asgardian nature and it can easily bypass his Asgardian durability.
