Origin

+ Part 1: Origin

Megan Gwynn was born in Abergylid, a small Welsh mining town. At a young age her father dies in a mine, giving her a natural fear of mines and caves. There is a car accident as a young teen in which her powers are revealed. Her wings manifest and her eyes darken, more a dark pink but seemingly black in the right light. Quickly enrolled with Xavier's School, she joins at a time when there are separate training squads and she is placed with Paragaons training squad.

+ Part 2: Magik and Souldagger

Proving herself, she joins with a team of New X-Men, but is pulled to Limbo where she encounters Magik (Darkchild). Her friends are captured by the demon Belasco, Darkchild agrees to help Pixie, but it requires part of her soul. This results in the creation of a Bloodstone from Pixie, showing she is highly attuned to magic, as a half magical entity, even if she doesn't yet fully understand this yet. This also forges the Souldagger, which is anchored to Pixie. More X-Men arrive and Belaso is defeated, giving control of Limbo once again over to Darkchild. With her magic, she learns to teleport at this time. After this event, Dr. Strange has agreed to teach her magic, once she is of a proper age.

+ Part 3: Growth

She continues to study at school until she graduates from the School of Higher Learning. During this time, she develops her pixie dust ability and focuses on her magic. She develops the ability to teleport as fast as Nightcrawler, and over greater distances. She can also teleport to Limbo. From the Cheyenne book of magic, she learns to banish demons and from the Scarlet Witch she has learned a sleeping spell. She had worked with the various X-Men groups to support in the realm of teleportation, able to teleport to any destination on earth she knows of, until the recent Secret Wars. Now returned, she sets out to join with the X-Men once more.

Hard Working, she sets her mind to something and she sees it through, dedicated to something she starts, she finishes.

When she wields the soul dagger, she has a darker side, much less cheerful and friendly than her usual.

Rejoin with the X-Men and discover more of her past.

+ Motivation

She is interested in finding out who she is. The human side she was raised as she understands, but she is learning she is half mutant half fairy. Some understanding of mutants from her years with the school and X-Men is helping, but she is very curious of her fairy side. This is hampered by Magik and the creation of the soul dagger, seeing the negative side, but she is hopeful in learning more of this and discovering more of her magic potential.

Abilities

+ Wings

She has butterfly like iridescent wings that allow her to fly, while not very fast, her wings make her an amazingly agile flier. She can fly up to 30 mph normally, as fast as normal humans can run, her greatest benefit in wings is her agility.

+ Pixie Dust

She produces spores from her wings that make people hallucinate if they inhale or come into contact via their skin, these are calming like hallucinations often times to comedic affect (Wolverine thinking he is fighting unicorns), she does not control what her targets see at this time.

+ Spell Casting

She can wield (use?) wild magic, so far she has learned to teleport, banish demons and a sleep spell. Her teleportation is the greatest magic she has.

She can teleport herself and others anywhere on Earth. The only interdimensional location she is known to be able to teleport to is Limbo. She was trained by Nightcrawler to use her ability to the point she is faster than he is. The limits of her ability to teleport have not yet been realized.

From the Cheyenne book of magic she has learned to Banish Demons. This was down to a town infested with N'Garai that the X-Men were battling.

The Scarlet Witch has taught her a sleep spell, The Mists of Morpheus (The Mists of Morpheus, Go!). This remains to really be seen in action.

It should be noted she was considered as one of the potential Sorcerer Supremes and Stephen Strange sees great potential in her, enough to have offered to mentor her when he felt she was ready for his training.

Advantages

+ X-Men

She has been a member of the X-Men for some time. … and Xaviers. As a former student and graduate, she knows faculty and other students both current and former.

+ Souldagger

A smaller version of the Soulsword, this can harm supernatural and magical entities, as well as intangible and ethereal beings. It is a manifestation of her magic power and potential. This dagger, in conjunction with her magic, has been used to locate and identify hidden or unknown magical entities. It has the capability to remove wards and spells (counter/break spell) affecting others as well. It has become stronger since her bloodstone has merged with it. It has been shown to incapacitate others rather than directly harm the corporeal and tangible non-magic, non-supernatural beings it has been used against. It was used once on Nightcrawler causing him to fall unconscious but suffering no real or lasting damage. The dagger can be stored in nothingness and summoned by Megan whenever she so desires. In the hands of another magic user, their abilities are augmented by the souldagger.

Skills

+ Combat

She is skilled in combat, enough to hold her own, but no where near many of the other X-Men, she is adapt at the use of her souldagger to make up for her shortcomings.

Disadvantages

+ Fear of Mines

Her father was killed in a mine and since then she's got an inherent fear of them, either collapsing, closing in on her, keeping her trapped, or simply dying inside.

Reputation

Typically fun loving with a spirit of life, she has taken a slightly darker turn since Magik took a part of her soul
